  1. I am playing these movies from VCR and recording them on ReplayTV.
After that, the movies in MPEG format are then transferred to my computer.
I then precede to author them using Ulead Moviefactory.
Everything seems ok until I burn them on DVD's and playback.
I get this audio/video sync problem. The video constantly freezes as well as the audio.
    Very fraustrating.
Anyone know what's going on and how to fix it?
This is the latest version of Moviefactory.

    Any help is apprecitated

Are you sure that ReplayTV is 100% complient? Sure sounds like it's not.

  3. What do you mean by "complient"?
The model that I have is from the 4500 series.
It should be ok for my purpose, right?
If the mpeg files downloaded from the ReplayTV are no good, how can I fix them before authoring?
Thanks for the fast reply, BTW.

  4. What are the precise properties of your files?

For example, I sometimes work with MPEG files that have the following properties:

    NTSC drop frame (29.97 fps)
    MPEG files
    24 Bits, 704 x 480, 29.97 fps
    Field Order B
    (DVD-NTSC), 4 : 3
Video data rate: Variable (Max. 8800 kbps)
    Audio data rate: 256 kbps
MPEG audio layer 2, 48 KHz, Stereo

How do the properties of your source files compare?

You can determine the properties of your files by right-clicking on them in Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2.
