  1. Okay, I've gotten the basic Sizzle setup working fine now, works great, and actually assembles my audio and video tracks fairly quickly, now the questions:
What is the preferred (and speediest) tool for simply demuxing the files? I've got MPEG files, both 1 and 2's, but what tools do y'all prefer to split the buggers? Some I've seen work very fast, but I have sync issues later, and I (think) that the ones I get from ffmpgX are the best, but how the heck do I set it up to JUST demux the file? When I set it up for SVCD or VCD or DVD it generates all the files needed, but very slowly, would it stand to reason that just splitting the file would be faster? Or is there a better tool you guys like? Last part of the equation for me, and then I'm a burning fool..blank 4x media, on sale tomorrow at Fry's...woohoo!

  2. I've just been trying out a fantastic little program with loads of tools called MPEG2 Works. I strongly suggest you give it a try - you might find that it will solve a lot of problems other than the one you're asking about!!!

    Get it here:

    Good luck!
