I've read different posts about burning programs but CloneDVD doesn't seem to work for me and I haven't tried the others.. Currently I'm using DVDShrink to shrink and Nero to burn but it doesn't play on one of my players and the first time I played LOTR2 it froze towards the end. What burning programs do you recommend?
Sorry.. newbie post

Lots of people seem to like RecordNow.
I have Prassi (old version of RN ) and it has never screwed up) -
A couple of the problems theoretically could have something to do with your burning prog, but LOTR stuttering at the end is definately not a burning software problem. You may want to consider your media, and your transcoding/authoring progs as well.

Before I used dvdxcopy, but I hate the warning that they put at the beginning(and the gold version did not record DVD tv episodes). Now I use DVD Decrypter, DVD2One and Nero to burn(DVD9 to DVD5). That seems to work really good for me right now. I like DVD2One better then DVD Shink because D2O figures out the compression rate for you, where as, DS, you have to scroll and figure out the compression for yourself. D2O also uses every bit of space availible on the disc, for best possible quality, where as DS usually has a couple hundred megs of space left. ALSO, D2O has the option to copy the entire disc(menus and all), or main movie. Only plus(and it's a big plus) about DS is that it's free....and free goes a long way! I can definately recommend D2O if you can get it!

@mrbass
check out a couple of post in the forum, D2O is also known to have a little better quality....also, I am using the old verion of D2O(1.1.3)...the newest version(1.3) is much better then the previous. They added a join feature which comes in handy for me since I have some dvd's that I previuosly had to split in 2.....nice little tool....DVD Shrink needs to catch up!!! :P
