I have the VOB's from a dvd-r i burned last year. Have been able to get the video only out but can't retrieve a separate audio file. In fact can't get a usable mpeg file (for DVD authoring app) at all - I mean one with audio. Have tried BBdemux, Diva, DVD Extractor, etc. All leave me with a vid only track or a track that has audio but won't demux. Any ideas? Bottom line - I need separate vid/audio tracks to make a new dvd. Or a usable QT mov file with sound.

My Bad
I don't visit the MAC forums and didn't see anything in the post suggesting it.
And no it didn't cross my mind to view 'computer specs'

Tis a bit old, but im moving this to the mac forum. You will get more help there.
Per your issue, i just got new version of mpeg2 works, under TOOLS there is a DEMUX .vob with .ac3 audio. I tried it, works great!
you get .m2v and .ac3
give it a try.
*(you will also find more help in mac forum on this topic, mac forum is a "all in all" forum for mac users so you can ask any questions in there, since we are all mac users in that forum.)
