Hi,
I'm just getting set up and from the compatibility list and other post it seems like my Pioneer F-727 player will not play SVCD's.
I want better quality than the vcds so I suppose xvcd will be my next choice assuming my player will play them.
My question, if I've read the "What is xvcd" to the side here correctly, xvcds will be only "one channel" sound, mono, correct?
Thanks, Jerry

No XVCD's are stereo the one channel refers to the fact that like VCD's they can have only one soundtrack. However SVCD/DVD's can have multiple soundtracks selectable via the remote control.
