I use Sonic Foundry Softencode. a bit old now. But its poss to make a AC3 5.1 surround sound file from a stereo wav, you just load up the wav 3 times (giving you six channels) and change the settings and save it as a AC3.

hi thanks for that , i got besweet and found this guide https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=129419

and follwed it but i must off done must sumthing wroung , as i get no file at the end of the convesion this is the log i get from besweet after the convesion.

Copy the ac3enc.dll to the besweet folder.

hican u plz tell me in a bit me detail how i would goabout doing this with this program
