editing file to get dvd menu

just did a rip with dvd xcopy and it keeps looping the warnings.
need to edit *.vob or *.ifo to put it back to load menu.
i have all of the dvd on hd but dont know where to setup

Not sure what you mean by 'looping', the software DVD player, if you play the VOB files directly, etc.

If you ripped the entire DVD to the HD and are trying to play it with a software DVD player you normally load the VIDEO_TS.IFO file, the rest of the DVD file structure is based on this.

DVDs use a file structure not a file format. All of the info is contained in the IFO files. But a striaght rip shouldn't change them so we need more info on the exact problem.

with xcopy it permits your to rip a dvd-9 to 2 dvd-r.
on the second dvd-r its all of the extra.
but when i start it in powerdvd i get only two screens.
one warning and another from movie studio.
but i cant get to the menu.
i just need to modify the video.vob or ifo to load the right vob to load the menu structure.
