Any Reviews on WinDVD Creator 2

I purchased WinDVD creator gold 2 on Intervideo's web site on 8/30/2003. I have p4 2.4 ghz and averDVD ezmaker pci card. This card comes with neoDVD, so you can create DVD or VCD. The reason I bought WinDVD creator gold 2 is that it supports creating SVCD. I've tried many other trial versions (Ulead, magix, vcdeasy, etc) that allows the creation of SVCD, by far WinDVD creator gold creates much better quality SVCD. Don't get me wrong that I imples other products are not good. WinDVD works fine on my pc configuration. You should download the trial version to see if it works on your pc configuration. The quality of DVD with winDVD creator gold 2 is not good compared that from the neoDVD bundle software. There is too much pixelation from windvd creator. Another problem with the windvd is that it appears the SVCD menu does not work on standalone dvd player. I've contacted intervideo tech support, but they don't help at all, kept telling me to look for the online help. They don't even tell me where in the online help would help me create the SVCD menu (they do have lots on the DVD, and they really work). So if you want to make the SVCD menu, you need to think twice. I've verified that my DVD player supports SVCD menu. Hope this info helps you.
