I have question that is an off topic , but still needs to be addressed. I am going to buy the DVD burner , but I found out that my power supply only has four main connectors and they are used up. Has any of you used a cable splitter (Y cable) connecting two device from one of the main power connectors? I really do not want to buy another power supply or remove my existing burner. Would it be OK to use? Or, is there a risk I would be taking if I used it? Any feedback on this would be great...!

Not a problem. I've used lots of them. Just make sure your power supply is up to the increased load. Usually 300 watts is the recomended minimum if you have 2 hard drives and two burners. If you use a lower wattage, make sure it doesn't overheat.
