when i click on the file browser icon to access the files on my pc everything is fine. i double click on the file (mpeg in this case) and DVDlab pro breaks it down into video and audio just fine.

MY question is ...... IS THERE ANY WAY TO HAVE THE AUDIO AND VIDEO FILES THAT DVDLab Pro CREATES GO INTO A SPECIFIED FOLDER???

in other words, if i have a folder named "movie" and i have a mpeg in the folder named "videohelpdrama" ... when i open the mpeg file in dvdlab pro ... it will break it down into an audio and video file (say videohelpdrama.mpg and videohelpdrama.mp3 for example)

but it puts those two new files in the same folder as the original mpeg they were created from. is there any way to specify that i want those two new files in a separate folder??

In the 'Options' tab under 'Project/Project Properties' there are radio buttons that control the demuxing, including the folder destination.

    Just select 'always ask'

Go to Project --> Project Properties -->Options. You should see an entry called Demux Directory with a dot in the box for Same as Input. Change that to Always Ask.

Drat...beat to the punch by one minute.
