    I was curious. does anyone know if this card will work with an nvidia mobo. my vg card is nvidia as well.

    It should do. An ATI card will work with a motherboard with Intel, VIA or just about any other chipset. It doesn't matter who made the chipset, it does the same job. The fact that nVidia also make graphics chipsets is irrelevent.

    The same goes for your graphics. It's job is to display a picture on your monitor, it isn't bothered where that picture originates from.
