  1. I am trying to backup one of my french movies with subtitles. I used smartripper and got the vob files with that an i selected th english subtitles. But when i use dvd2avi it does not show the subs even if i select it as a select vob file. Same as in tmpgenc plus 2.5. Help, i love the movie and want to back it up. It would be ok if i could understand french but i dont.

I also got virtualdub but dont find it easy to use and i cant add the subs file without doing my own subs for the whole movie.

    Help!!!

It's not enough to just tell smartripper to include them, you have to use something to actually process the subtitles. vobsub is a good choice if you want permanent subtitles.

  5. I still having problems though. I got vobsob and selevted english under the vobsub configure. It does the indexing thing but dont seem to have gotton the sub file correctly. I have also used subtosup but to no avail. Please help. I looked at the guide about using vobsub but still to no avail.

The vob files area all ripped and have used dvd2avi to create a d2v file. Just cant get the subtitles sorted!
