  1. i opened up an mpeg2 that i know has some corrupt frames in it. i opened the file in the special MPEG2 version of VirtualDub and scanned for unreadable frames. now that virtualdub has done that, how do i save it as the fixed mpeg2 now?

    as an alternate solution, maybe somebody can suggest an application that can demux or fix mpeg streams with unreadable frames. (ive tried tmpgenc and dvd lab and both fail at the first corrupt frame).

    ::EDIT::

    just thought i'd clarify. this mpeg2 file is already ripped from a bin/cue with no read errors. i used vcdgear with the 'fix mpeg errors' option checked. the problem seems to be corrupt frames, not so much unreadable frames.

    No it wont work with virtualdubmod or virtualdubmpeg2 or any virtualdub, because you can't save the the video as mpeg2 using direct stream copy.
