    Don't give up !

    Doing a search let me read things like this:

    PS2 cannot play vcds. Modded ps2 might be able to, I just haven't found a program that did yet. I use the ps2 divx player to play divx. I have taken some svcds and done some header tricks to have them play like they were dvds. For vcds I demux and author as a dvd. my version of the ps2 can play dvd-r/rw +r/rw. My very first ps2 didn't read +rw if I remember correctly.
    Now I know more on this topic than kasios (maybe). I don't even have a PS2. My wife doesn't think I need one.


    Honestly, you can probably buy a dvd player for $50 that can play vcds. So what's the point goofing with the PS2? However, I never let logic like that sidetrack my projects.

    play on your computer for free!

    convert to a dvd & play on the ps2.
