  2. Might be that the DIVX file has been corrupted somehow or that it might have a few bad frames in it.

I had that same issue once when I was backing up a laserdisc. I recaptured the source and the error went away.

First, rty scanning the file for bad frames(VirtualDub can do this). If that comes out OK, then you might want to consider recapturing the video, or if the end part of it, if there is a convenient cut point. Then you could just encode the good portion of the DIVX file you have now and then encode the new capture and merge them together.

That exact error happens to me when the file tries to exceed 4GB on my FAT32 HD.

Or if you absolutely want youur credits in, use Source Frame to encode the rest of your video and merge them together.

  5. In tmpgnce, go to "tool" and split the audio/video into two separate files in "de-multiplex", do not use "simple de-mulitplex"......You will have to create a video file, then re-run it again pulling out the audio, then when you encode the movie, just plug in the audio and video....for some reason, whenever I get encoding errors, I just let the program split it and run it, it works for me 100% of the time......dont ask why.

Try encoding the Video and Audio seperatly and then multiplex it afterwards.
