  1. Is it possible to rip audio from one dvd, and video from a second dvd to make one final DVD? I got a remastered Kung Fu movie that I'd like to use the video from, but the problem is that the new remastered version is in Chinese. So i'd like to rip the English track out of the other DVD and combine them both.
By the way the movie is "The five deadly venoms" The Video on the English one is really crappy!!
    Thx

Yes of course. Simplest to reauthor main title m2v from DVD1 with main title AC3/LPCM/MP2 from DVD2 with IfoEdit.

  3. Will Ifoedit be enough or Do I need any other tools?

Once you've ripped the video and audio (Use DVDDecrypter to rip and ReJig to demux to m2v/ac3/lpcm/mp2) Then yes, IfoEdit can do the rest. (Multiplex the video with audio and create the DVD structure & files, and even create the ISO ready to burn.)

Yes, that's right. Wit ReJig, you can select any # of VOBs, then demux the different tracks as one m2v or AC3 or whatever.
To boot, ReJig can transcode (shrink) the m2v too in the process, just like DVDShrink et al.

  7. Ok, I got it done! Thx for your help. The onlky thing is that the sound is about 2 seconds off. Any suggestions on what software to use to edit the file? I guess it'll probably have to be converted to wav format, right?
    Thx

Yes, and then add 2 sec silence / chop off 2 secs at the start. Then reencode.
Some authoring tools even let you set delay between video and audio track at the authoring stage, so you wont need the procedure above.
