Hello. I got a couple .AVIs compressed in XVID that my friend did for me and I wanted to save only certain portions of the video. I thought I could do it with VirtualDubMod. I opened the file and I got the error:
"VirtualDub has detected an iproper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file (audio stream 1)...
Do you still want to rewrite the header?"
I searched on this and saw that people say you need to save the audio as a .WAV file. So I selected NO when asked if i wanted to rewrite the header, saved the audio as .WAV, but now I don't know what to do in order to mux the audio and video together for that portion of the clip I want. Do I need to recombine both the audio and video together, and then save that segment I want? I'm still stuck on the combining of the audio and video together though. Any advice?
Thanks![/url]
