i have this capture card, i have been able to capture using the phono video connector but if i try using the svideo connector it wont display a picture on my screen. can any body give me any pointers as to why that may be? i am trying to capture from my vhs player, i have a scart converter to plug my svideo lead into the back of my vhs player and that then connects into my winfast card. but i cant get the picture to come up. the sound comes through though, but thats on a different lead.
    please let me know.

double-check your leads. i have this card and so far, no problems. why don't you use regular rca's. they'll do the job ok.

the leads have been checked and they are ok, i have used new leads and a friends leads to make sure the leads were ok. i can get a black and white picture off svideo leads and the rca leads do work, i just thought svideo would give me better quality thats all. are you using the rca lead or are you using the svideo lead?
