  2. You cant burn DVD-Audio disks. They aren't the same as DVD data and video disks. And very very few DVD playes support MP3 DVD's (Data DVD with MP3 files on it)

  4. I think the question is: if you have a DVD/CD player that accepts discs with mp3's on them, then will the player read the TOC on a data DVD filled with mp3's and play them. Probably not, NE else tested this?

EDIT: also you need to clarify. Are you talking about a DVD-Audio disc or a data disc with mp3's on them. There is a DVD-Audio format. Very VERY high quality sound but not many players support it yet.

  7. I have a Panasonic F65 and it doesn't support DVD-MP3 and AFAIK no Panasonic does, but my player supports DVD-AUDIO(2ch).If you want to make a DVD with MP3 then I would use WinOnCD or Ulead PictureShow.

BTW..Diskwelder sells programs that will make a DVD-AUDIO disk but they start at $500USD.

It may support commercial made DVD-audio disks, but you can't make them with DVDR disks.

There are ways to get audio only DVD's, kinda, but they are not DVD-Audio. You could combine a bunch of tracks as a wav, or encode as AC3 or mpeg-1 layer 2. Then create a video with just a still picture to span the length of the audio track, then create a DVD out of that. Then when you authour the dvd you could put chapter marks at each song so you could skip between them during playback.

  10. WinOnCD will not make a DVD-AUDIO disk but it will author a DVD with MP2 audio, you can fit more songs on a DVD using MP2 than LPCM(DVD-AUDIO).
