I have some video that takes about 15 minutes. I was wondering whether or not it is possible to author this for DVD but burn it onto a CD-R. It seems like there would be enough space on a CD-R for 15minutes of DVD video, but I don't know if there are issues with data rate, etc. If this is possible can anyone tell me what I would need to do? I am using the Sonic Foundry DVD Architect software.
Thanks for any help.

Yes you can do it, you will be creating a MiniDVD.
Should play ok in your computer dvd drive, but not many stand alones will accept them. -
It is called a miniDVD. I do not know about your software, but Video Studio does it by authoring a DVD, selecting create DVD and instead of using a DVD±R, you use CD-R in your burner instead.
