  1. I didn't know where to post this, so I put it here. I just built a system and it is working fine with one exception. I have a 2 disc VCD and when the first disc is finished and I insert the second disc and try to play from the "player" (Windows Media Player or Power DVD) the system (Windows XP) crashes and the system reboots. If I play the second disc from explorer it works fine. The second disc doesn't have to be from the same movie. This happens using any "2nd" disc. But it only happens if I open the drive and then play the video. If I don't open the drive (and it happens with any combination of the two drives installed), but just try to replay the discs in the drives, everything works fine. It only crashes when I play a video, open the drive, and try to play again. And only if I try to play from the player application, but not if I play from explorer.

The obvoius answer is to play from explorer but I'm looking fo a better one. Does anyone have any ideas? I've installed all the new drivers and XP patches. Thanks in advance for any help.
