I`m tryng to convert from AVI to MPG but some times I`m getting error messages: Read error occured at address BFF7A125 of module `KERNEL32.DLL`with 00778FA8 and in the movie window is some message too: WARNING: NOTHING TO OUTPUT BFRAME DECODER LAG
...ANY HELP PLEASE

I agree with Matt
Try scanning the avi for bad frames in virtual dub.

no, I just added subtitels with VIRTUALDUB and I can wach it in any player ( in my comp.) but cannot convert it to MPG1 ( for creating VCD)
Usually I do it with NERO 6 but this movie is 1h 44m 47s long and for fitting it to the one 800MB cd I have to make it non-standard 950 bitrate
MPG.
I did same thing before with other AVI-s and it is OK!cheers... -
Just because it plays ok, it does not mean the file has nothing wrong with it. Try scanning it with vdub to see if it turns anything up.
