    Is there any chance to make PowerDVD keep aspect ratio in full screen mode while playing DivX files ? I expected version 5 with hope, but seems to me, that nothing changed. Still the picture becomes vertically elongated.

    Why use PowerDVD to play DivX? PowerDVD is for DVD, SVCD and VCD.
