alternative to ulead dvd movie factory 2??

my free trial just ran out of dvd factory

is there a better programme or is it just worthwhile to buy this??

It's a good basic program.

Good for those just getting started.

And it may be all that you want.

However, there is motion menu support and AC-3 support in Ulead DVD Workshop AC-3:

TMPEGenc DVD Author if you want fairly simple like what you are using.

DVD-lab if you want a lot more control.

Movie Factory and TMPGEnc DVD Author are both around $50. I like Movie Factory alot better.

Forget about DVD Workshop it costs $299 for the standard version and $495 for AC-3 support!!!

i agree ith FT shark, i really do like Ulead MF beacause it gets the job done, plus it looks cool too. so i would say go ahead and get it its worthwhile.

I'm amazed that with the amount of guys out there writing apps like Gordian Knot, TMPGenc etc, that the DVD authoring software area still doesn't have a freeware app. I guess I'm just being cheap though. Will probably invest in MF2 cos the trial certainly produced good videos.
