  1. I have just recently got a digital camera have both the above programs I am looking fo guides on either of the above and to see if anybody has suggestions which one to use first as I am mere novice, or do i use both one for capturing and other for editing.

    Help or links to easy to follow guides much appreciated, I will be doing my dvds in the PAL format.

    I think Studio 8 is your best bet out of the two. Prem is a very big learning curve. Have seen Studio in action on mates computer and it is very good at Effects. Very easy! Mind you, it won't let you use the pro Effects until you unlock them
    Keep going till you get it right!!!

    I first attempted to learn video editing by using Studio 8 but had many software problems. After downloading the free trial of Premier, I switched and never touched Studio again. Yes, the learning curve is somewhat steeper but well worth the results.
