  1. I thought the file that I had was already a VCD, because the FPS was 14.98. Thus, I tried to compile it in Nero, and while draging it into the new compilation, there was an error, unsupported file format.

Why does it say this? And How can I get around this

    -thanks

  2. the answer is simple.

your file isn't vcd. vcds are 25, 29,97 or 23,976 fps. so nero doesn't know what to do with it.

what you need to do is reencode your file but i don't know what you can do to get a good result out of a 14.98 per second.

  4. VCDs are either 25fps or 29.97 fps NOT 23.976 fps. As for going from 14.98 to whatever, just load your source file into TMPGEnc, pick your VCD template and go. Don't check the "Do not framerate conversion box".
