  1. Ive got a file that is an xvid.It plays fine in windows media and power dvd.But when i try to encode i get the dreded green haze.I have the xvid codec installed.Im asuming it has something to do with vfapi plug-in settings but im not sure which one to change.Am i correct and which one do i change?

    then put apply and now encode with TMPGEnc

  3. Did you try downloading a later version of XVID codec?
    (is it separate codec or part of a "pack"you have ?)

  4. Im sure i have the latest version of the xvid codec as both media player and power dvd play fine without the green mess.Im sure its tmpgenc that is the problem,i downloaded the new plus version last week.
    Any more suggestions

    it has nothign to do with your codec if it plays its good. did you read what i posted i put pics so it would be simpler. do that and TMPGEnc wont have problems with green screens. remember im a super pro.

  6. I have the exact same problem, kinda, I have got a video in an avi extention and have finally found the right codec CDVC, but when I play in media player all I get is green!?!
