  1. Has anyone gotten this player to reliably play DVD-Rs? I bought this for this exact reason and the manual says it should, but I can only get it to work with one of my discs, even though the other play fine in my Panasonic and Sony stand-alones........Any thoughts?

    Using a Pioneer A04, Nero.

    Thanks.

  2. Hello devong67,

I am having the same problem using DVD-R's burnt with Nero. Apparantely its the UDF/ISO format that Nero uses to burn that confuses the Toshiba SDP-2000 portable player.

To get around it, burn your ripped VIDEO_TS folder using RecordNow Max. It plays these DVD-R's fine.

Another way is to use ImgTool 0.89 and convert your VIDEO_TS folder to an .ISO image file and burn it to DVD using DVD Decrypter.

    Downlaod ImgTool 0.89 at http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Vobtools/ImgTool_089_dll.zip
