    Guys,

    Please help me out with a few Toshiba DVD recorders.

    What are the differences in the the XS34 & XS35? I looked at the specs and couldnt find anything that distinguised one from the other.

    Also, the XS-55, does it have the 24/7 fan running & TVGOS like the XS-54? Many thanks.

    The 35 and 55 are the current models of each player, so there should be many, if any, differences. According to the webiste, the 55 has TVGOS and from my experience, when these units have a fan, it is on all the time.

    The 34 has a step by step user fan mod procedure that was published online some time ago, but I never saw any mention as to whether or not this was recommended for any other Toshiba models.
