Ulead Video Studio 7

I have Winxp pro and Hauppauge WinTV card- an old one.

I used Uleadvideostudio to capture directly as a vcd file but it crashed every time I hit capture. I mean my computer reboot by itself everytime I hit capture button.

At first, it ask me to select YUV format as first choice or RGB24 as second choice. I dont have YUV format available on my list to choose from so I selected RGB24.

Am guessing that if I choose YUV, it may not crash?
Can someone tell me how I can choose YUV if it's not on the format list that I have??

I have tried using WinDVD Recorder and PowerVCRII, but these 2 softwares couldnt see my capture card.

Can someone suggest another easy to use capture software that can capture directly to vcd format?
Or I jus need a solution to my crashing problem for Ulead.

I don't know the answer to your question... But the folks on this site ( http://www.shspvr.com/forum/ ) are very wise in the hauppauge ways. You might try to post over there as well.... I think Steve is the "Go To" guy on that forum. I had a PVR 250 and he helped me when no one else could figure the problem out... Sorry I couldnt be of more assistance.
