  1. I have recently installed Ulead DVD Movie Factory as it was recomended by most people using these forums. It's very cool and easy to use however have found that the screen jumps when my DVD player selects a button in the menu I have created.

Ive tried creating the same DVD using the same files, etc but in DVDit. This results in a smooth transition from clicking a menu button to playing a video clip. (This isnt the answer I'm looking for coz I prefer Ulead)

Has anyone had the same problem when using Ulead or know how to fix it?

    Please help.

I've personally never experienced this problem with Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2.

You didn't mention which version you are using.

Nevertheless, I wonder if the update patches might help.

  4. Don't know anything about jumping, but the one dvd I have created with MF2 hangs up a bit when I press the menu button while a file is playing. It takes the player a while to recognize/load the dvd (that's because it's an RCA pile of junk), but will load the menu fine. I get a smooth transition into the chapter menu after I click on one of the files. It's just when I start playing it and then want to jump back to the menu. Once the menu loops back around, there is no problems.

Everything plays fine in my Sony PQ-1.

  5. Thanks for your suggestions.
I believe I'm using version 2.0 but I will double check.

    The tutorials will certainly help.

    Thanks again.
