Hi I need some help, I can't work out what the hell I am doing wrong.

I have an AVI that is DivX3 with WMAv2 audio which is 2hrs 2mins long and 23.976fps. I am trying to convert to VCD (1 disk - yeah I know) in TMPGEnc. I select the correct template, etc. select 80min CDR/VCD (with fps 23.976) and then set the bit rate so that it is a 100% fit (755k). However when it has finished I have a file that is 1.2Gb!! I even tried converting that one to 80min VCD (just in case I had made a mistake on the first encoding) but that also comes out at 1.2Gb.

Anyone got any ideas, this is the first failure I've had in TMPGenc!

(Just for the record I am now making separate streams of audio and video and to see the sizes of the file to see if it is audio or video that is the problem.)

    Thanks in advance.

    Jukka

That tmpgenc version(and 2.59) had a bug that just caused that. It didn't matter if you changed the bitrate it would always be standard vcd bitrate. So get the latest TMPGEnc.

Be also sure to select VCD(non standard) under Settings->System.

Is tht bug only for NTSC Film? I have successfully done loads of 1 disk VCD conversions ith it.

Or maybe it was only version 2.59.

Be also sure to select VCD(non standard) under Settings->System.
