what am I doing wrong?

right, i have just burnt a vcd disk with 4 dat files in it.

When I play the vcd on my computer the picture + sound are great, however when I put the disk on my stand alone dvd player, the picture seem to be fast forwarded, and the sound of the people seem as if they were on helium. do you know what I did wrong?

Some advice would be great, and sorry for my poor english.

To be able to answer this, try including more information, such as how the MPG files were made ? (MPG=DAT)

I have finally sorted this out, but now another problem has arised.

I joined the 4 files up, making it as 1 file.

When playing the movie, theres bleeps during the movie, at the bits that i merge the files together. do you know what thats happening? and how i can correct this?

I merged 4 .mpg files and burnt it as a vcd.
