Hi, I recall reading somewhere on the internet that there should be Recordable DVD's that are writable on both sides? Anyone knows if they do exist?

Ritek, Verbatim, Pioneer, just to name a few, make dual sided media.
Can be bought at most online media stores. -
MAXELL also makes double siders. These have been around almost from the beginning.

They're doublesided, yesssss... BUT....
You have to turn them over to play the other side!!!
(see it as 2 DVD5's glued together...)
'HAG -
plus they're WAY more than twice the price
stop messing around and get back to work. -
Just to make sure we're all on the same page:
Check the glossary to the left for the difference between DVD-10 and DVD-9 (dual sided vs. dual layer). -
double-sided DVD-Rs still do not solve the problem of ripping/copying dual-layer DVDs....they still have to be split between 2 DVD5s...or in this case, split to each side...which is basically the same as 2 single-sided DVD-Rs..
