  2. Use DVD Decryptor to make an image of the discs and then burn it.

P.S. When you create backup of a disc, shouldn't you play the backup, not the original?

  4. You can use the same program to burn the image.

  5. It should. If it doesn't work, I think DVD Decryptor can burn it.

  6. Nero might work, but I would stick with DVD Decrypter:

    1) Insert DVD in DVD-ROM
    2) Run DVD Decrytper
    3) Choose "mode | iso - read", and rip image to HD
    4) Place blank DVDR in DVDR/W drive
    5) Choose "mode | iso - write", select image and burn

This is also the easist method to back up DVD5 discs.

    If it's a deprotected backup...

Just copy the files to your hard disk and then burn them back to DVD.

Or, fire up Nero and pick "copy disk".

Pretty simple. Backups have no protection.

  8. Ditto Gurm's comments. A D2D copy with RecordNow or Nero is quick and easy -- and yes, you can do it.
