Wintv Primio Problems

As im very new to capturing can some1 please help.I bought the wintv primio fm last week but im having problems gettin good capture off it. I cant get any colour picture from it. I updated my drivers to the newest off the website but still no luck. When i use my rabbit ears antennae into the coax the picture is very fuzzy, also with a vhs tape thro coax connector. Even when i connect my ps2 thro the rca in i get a slightly fuzzy picture (much better) but still in black and white.
What am i doin wrong or is it that the hardware just isnt good enough??
There is a "mono" written on the bottom middle of the screen but i think that has to do with audio options not the colour. Please help

Where are you located ( country ) and where did you get the card. It sounds like you have it set to the wrong TV system ( eg pal vs ntsc ) and the card therefore cannnot decode the color properly ( or at all ).

Im in ireland therfore pal but i cant find where you get the option to change from ntsc to pal? its not mentioned in any of the help docs!!
Any ideas??
