I have captured some analog video and am making a DVD compliant mpeg file. I set the field order at A, and my video is jerky on my TV(plays fine on computer.
Is the correct feild order (B) for analog video in Video studio? I always use feild order (A) in Tmpenc, and the video is fine.
There is a option in video studio 7, that says "Frame Based" , does this setting analyze the video for me, and automatically chooses the best setting for me?
Thanks

I use Field order "A" for capture/render/encode/burn withg out any problems. Make sure to use the same field order through out all your process starting with the capture. Change the frame base setting at capture to field order "A".
Also make sure that no where in any of your processes is it de-interlacing the video. It must stay interlaced if you are going to watch it on a non-progressive TV. -
I think field orders in Ulead products are inverted. If you choose field B it will work as field A and viceversa. Make a test and try Field Order B and you'll see.
Good Luck!
