    Hi all,
I am using Nero 5.5+. I create mpgs using TMPGEnc. I have previously burned these to CD-R. Since I have a pack of CD-RW I would like to use them to see mpgs on the TV and then if I like I can burn to CD-R.

Do I need to format the CD-RW first?
Do I just insert a CD-RW into Nero instead of a CD-R and do the same procedure?
If I need to erase that how do I do that? in windows explorer?
Can a "burned" mpg onto a CD-RW allow me to still erase after?

    Thanks

    No, you don't.

Exactly. Possibly lower the burning speed, as both writers and CD-RWs can't use the same speed as CD-R

No, this is usually done with the burning app (In Nero it's under the Recorder menu: Erase ReWritable).

Yes, see above. Just blank it, and it's as good as new.
