I've just finished encoding just over an hours worth of footage and video clips from a stage production that I filmed recently. The DV cam footage was captured and encoded to mpeg2 at 7000kb/s at CBR using TMPGEnc.
It was authored using TMPGEnc DVD and the final product was just over the limit for a DVDR so I ran the authored files through DVD2ONE (V1.2) in movie only mode at CBR to get it to fit. Older versions caused problems with 'encrypted data' errors but the new one doesnt. However, the scrolling credits to the show at the end slow down and speed up quickly whilst the music remains perfect.
The original avi and encoded mpeg are perfect. The authored DVD files are perfect, but somehow DVD2ONE messes up only the credits at the end whilst the rest of the footage is fine.
Any suggections?

My suggestion would be to reencode from the original AVI file with TMPGEnc at a slightly lower bitrate so that it will fit on your DVD. You should always aim to only encode once.

Yeah, I thought about that but hoped there would be an easier (less time consuming) way. So near and yet so far..................
The problem is that I just want the DVD to play from start to finish (with chapters) and not have the menu come up at the end (TMPGEnc won't allow a 'movie only' author) so I need to run it through DVD2ONE to get the movie only part.
Ho hum! CBR6750, here we go!
Thanks for your help CT.Regards,
