  2. one way is to convert tow movies to CVD nonstandard 48mhz audio and then burn them with movie factory 2.

The easiest way i've ever heard (and hence the one I use).

Load both of your movies into your DVD authoring software.
Select write to disk instead of burning a DVD or writing an image.
Then use something like DVD2One to shrink the VIDEO_TS folder to a size that'll fit on the blank DVD.

There is loss of quality - something has got to give somewhere - I usually only put two onto a DVD but have at times managed three.

  4. Yes, nearly every authoring program allows you to add as many titlesets as you have space for. If you mean backing up two DVDs to one DVDR, then yes. But the process can get more involved.

There are authoring guides to the left.

"Recommend" is a bad word, "Suggest" is a better one

I can do this with TMPGenc author really easy. You can add your files as tracks or as subtracks.
It is possible to add 99 files as subtracks, but they have to be same framesize and GOP. I don't know if they have to be also same type (all progressive or all interlace or all mpeg 2 or all mpeg 1). But you can add 255 files as tracks with no problem and restriction. So, I suggest you TMPGenc Author.
