    I just got the Sony DVMC unit. Is there anyway to get CCE to encode a DV avi file which I capture with the Sony unit?

    Yep, there is a few ways, U can frame serve using virtual dub or use avisynth.

    however I have yet to get a acceptable encode using CCE or TMPGE with a DV source @ SVCD resolution....CCE is an excellant encoder for DVD rips....I am unsure of why DV source is harder to encode...but no one else seems to have achieved a "near perfect" result from DV either
