i have 2 AVI files that i want to join so that they become one big movieclip! How do i do it and can i use TMPGEnc???

you can use vdub providing the movies are the same, ie bitrate resolution and framerate have to be identicle. Open the first file, then select append file the 2 files will now be in the same timeline. You can then save with a new filename using diect stream copy.

You can use TMPGENc, but you will have to convert thre AVI to MPEG-2/MPEG-1 first, then use the MERGE & CUT in the MPEG TOOLS to merge them together.
