Hello there,
I am trying to edit a video from the hours upon hours of video Ive shot, so I did a predit and dragged clips to the timeline thinking I could save them as a collection for a further more indepth edit to the audio. I cant figure out how to save it as a collection. It lets me import but doenst let me take the clips from the timeline and pop them up into the collection area to work from.
I have called Microsoft who sent me to HP who sent me to this supposed 'online technician' who was really a robot, ughhh so frustrating!!!
If anyone knows I would appreciate it greatly.
Thanks,
Velvet

You save the movie maker project and it saves where you are up to, including any transitions, edits etc., ready for you to come back and work on later. You find it under File -> Save Project.
You can also drag clips from one collection to another to build up a collection of clips from different projects.Read my blog here.
