    I Have a pile of PAL dvds and my dvd player will not play them I get the "wrong disc" message.I moved to Canada from the UK and bought over my dvds in the hope that the player we had over here would play them Lennox2002 but alas no joy. Can anyone tell me if there is a way of converting them over including the menus and extras.

    i would suggest you purchse a new dvd player that has a firmware hack to allow you to play out of region dvd's.. also when looking for the play, make sure it is multi-system so that it will display the pal dvd's correctly on your ntsc television..

    this is the best solution.. converting all those dvd's would be very time consuming, not to mention the cost of the media & the quality degridation that would come from converting dvd9 to dvd5.

    p.s. - this website has a very good dvd player database, and also a hackable dvd player database..
