Hi all, I am new to capturing and have used VirtualVCR with a little success but because I am using a fat 32 drive I can't go over 4 gig in size and the only way to get a full movie while using a timer to capture is to drop the quality which I don't really want to do. I have heard that Virtualdub will split captures once the file gets to the 4 gig limit and I also hear there is a timer available. My question is when I first install virtualdub and click capture avi it works fine but when I go to use it again I get an error message saying the capture device is in use and will not allow me to select the capture drivers and then it says there are none. Now I know that nothing is running that uses my capture card unless there is a hidden programme so does anyone know what's going on ? Thanks in advance![]()
