  7. Hello y'all.

Why do you want to create .CUE and .BIN files? Is it for making VCD/SVCD or just for writing plain data to a disc?

I think all of you are partially right about different things. VCDEasy uses the vcdimager package utilities including vcdxbuild to read MPG movie files and create the .CUE/.BIN file pair. So you could use the graphical VCDEasy software to do most of the work for you or you could use the vcdimager or vcdxbuild utilities at the command line (Windows/UNIX).

Here is an example of vcdimager at the command-line. This will produce two files named VIDEOCD.CUE and VIDEOCD.BIN that you can use to burn a simple VCD.
    Code:
    vcdimager moviefile.mpg
    I prefer using VCDEasy!

Why do want to create .bin/.cue files for your purpose? You could create an ISO9660 .ISO image file instead if you just want to put a .AVI file and some other files on a disc, using Roxio Easy CD. Otherwise check out some utilities on CD Media World's website.

    Please be more specific.
