  1. Can anyone help im trying to make an xvid video but i cant seem to make it fit in one disc and most of the times the quality is no good

    talk about a life long quest, make sure to use mutiple passes and vbr... the best thing to do is to talk to one of the encoders for the fansubbing groups, they tend to be the best....

  3. Practice. You do it alot, and you get good at it. You learn what settings to choose for what types of movies. There arn't some magic settings that work for every movie.

  5. for some reason everytime i wanna make a dvd it either comes out too big n d quality is not that good i was making a movie d other day and it came out like 4 gigs n d quality is still crap i've used dvd to avi but i cant get d audio to compress in order to make the file smaller

    Use Goridan Knot. It lets you input exactly how big you want the AVI file to be and the output is right on every time. Here is a link to a website that has everything you need (software and a guide)

    It might be kind of complicated if you are new to this, but the step by step guide is very useful.

    you can try to use virtualdup its easy to use and there is a lot of good guides to find at these pages 8)
