    Hi there.

    Have searched in vain for a good batch converter for my camcorder AVI files. When I convert from an AVI to an MPG-2 (for easier DVD storage purposes) that I can later edit into a DVD without MPG-2/VOB quality loss, I am thrilled with the output. The Vegas rendered MPG2 looks almost 98% as good as the AVI. Tried AVS Tools and I don't see that same quality. BUT, I want to BATCH CONVERT a lot of AVI's to MPG2, as I stated, for easier DVD file storage purposes (in case my dig-video tape gets gnarled or demagnetized one day...).

    Any thoughts on a HQ Batch converter that meets my standard (that of Vegas's rendering engine)?

    Thanks for the direction, but you didn't say where I could get the other software, just the first one. hcbatchgui is that from/linked on this site too?
