OK, so I have a bit of an odd problem and wonder if anyone else has experienced it.
I have a JVC XV-521BK and to date it has played all DVDs and DVD-Rs I have thrown at it. (including Princo)
Recently I bought a new batch of Princos (which were speed certified) and I burned at 1x to make a conpatibly test. I found the JVC would stutter on the disc towards the end while the disc plays PERFECTLY on my Pioneer DV-250 and this other RCA DVD player I have. I popped it open and cleaned the lens and the problem stil happens.
Now I know people will be quick to blame the Princos, but I find it hard to believe that the discs would be the problem when they worked before. I'm prehaps thinking the age of the unit (3 years?) might be more the culprit.
I'm wondering if anyone has run into a problem where a DVD player will play a disc at one point and then NOT play a similar disc at another point.
Regards,
Savant
