    Thank you for this forum!
I have a JVC GD-DVF21 Dig Mini DV camcorder. It has 3 hole composite out and I'm plugging that into a two hole Sony DVD player (DVP-FX94)...
However this is going 'over the air' from a transmitter to the receiver (plugged into the DVD player)
Right now distance is not an issue (ten feet apart, 2.4Ghz but nothing interfering) AND I do get some sound but no picture.

Is there anything in the menu items that "must" be turned on for DV 'out' from the Camcorder (I've looked and do not see anything) - this is a US made and sold product in California so I'm not thinking (but perhaps there is) a widget issue.

    Many thanks for any help.

Did you remember to select "line-in" under the input select button on your portable Sony DVD player?

    Hi Filmboss,
Yes... and I believe I may have solved the issue. I connected 'directly' (leaving out transmitter and receivers) the Camcorder to the Sony DVD player (Line-in) with the provided 3 pin to 2 pin Composite wires. Perfect. What the Camcorder was "seeing" showed up on the Sony DVD player.
I "think" the issue is that I have a transmitter that will be hooked up to the 'camcorder' and so far the 'pins' from the 3 to 2 composite are too large (by just a TINY bit) to fit into the transmitter's connections. Just don't want to jam them in and so I wonder if there are 'pin sizes' to think about? I'm trying to find another set of wires.
Appreciate the help. Are there 'different' sized pins on these "composite" wires usually?
